      Installing the DSE Coilovers

      Hey guys, Read the link below from Lateral G

      Questions being however, Does the engine have to be removed to install the fixture on the cross member or can it slide in without removal. Standard 350 Small block BTW

      Thanks again, and if anyone have the actual isntructions online from DSE that would me stellar

      The bracket bolts to where the engine frame stands are, engine removal is a requirement.

      Complete removal or could i jsut unbolt it all and lift it up a bit?

      Complete removal. I also think it would be a PITA to do this with the fenders etc installed. Take a look here:

      aaa icic, so no issues with motor clearance with that huge brace in there?

      What do you mean???

      That brace is only a fixturing jig. Once the brackets themselves are welded to the subframe, the brace comes out.

      aaaaa makes sense now. I cant find any online isntructions for the kit, and i was trying to figure out how it all works.
