That sounds incredibly cool. I only wish I could make it out to watch the fun. How does the Ultima behave at those speeds? Not many cars will stay on the ground at those speeds ... if you've gone 196 in the past you've got some idea of what you're getting into.
Make sure somebody on your crew has a video camera, and keep us posted on how it's going.

I am running both events as well as car show.
I have beefed up Porsche Turbo Getrag G50/52, ring gear is approx 9".
You'll see it on TV, and there will be a camera in the car.

Jeff,my partner and I were talking today about maybe building a Lola T70 kit and would need one of those Porsche TT G50/52 transmissions.
What's the going rate and how hard is it to source one?

I`ll be rootin for ya Jeff.
We met you,your son and Ed on the `03 Power Tour and I was very impressed by the engineering of the car. It would be great if both you and Ed could compete. As much as I like BigRed,vs. the Ultima I think it`s toast. Now if I could just talk a customer into letting me do an Ultima for them so I could play with it. ;)Marcus SC&C
