The Canidate is a Late model Camaro. I dont have all the details on the engine except for the twin turbo setup the customer mentioned to me when the order was placed. What it all comes down to is that only one pump is going to be used contuiniously the other is going to be activated at times by the computer as an assist so the primary is not working so hard. It is also going to be set up so that the continious and the assist pump can be switched between at any given time so they get even use.

That's hilarious. The thought of switching between the two pumps or using the other as an assist under high demand conditions never occured to me. I thought the same as everyone else "what the hell is that supposed to feed?!!" Very cool!

Its nothing new as far as idea wise... People have been doing this for a long time. Its essentially a booster pump. The switching between pumps so they both get the same use more so unneeded and more hassle IMO then just running one big intank with a external booster. Either way, its how people want it done, not how I want it done.

I didn't mean I wasn't familiar with the concept, it's been done with boosted and N20 cars for sometime, I just was laughing because that wasn't the first thing that popped into my mind. The first thing that popped into my mind was a full-roller, 14:1 compression 636 big block that idles at 2000....y'know? That's what I though was hillarious...my feable mind

All ZR-1 Corvettes have dual pumps. It's nothing new, though.
