      New member here from Houston

I have been building my car for a little over a year now, and John Parsons (at IIMUCH FABRICATION) has been a great help, and he has this website linked, so here I am checking it out. My current ride under construction is a Mopar, but I have owned all of the Big Three, so I am not partial to any make. I also own an 05 Silverado with the 5.3, and am really liking the potential of the Gen III motor. Anyways, I will be browsing this site and asking questions from time to time, so glad to be here.

I am in Pearland, closer to Friendswood....right across the street from Clear Lake. In fact, I lived in Clear Lake for about 6 years, off of Egret Bay and Nasa Rd. 1. LS1 tech, is that your car in PHR? If so, very nice ride. I am looking into making some changes to my 05 Silverado 5.3. It needs some more ummmphhh if you know what I mean. I just sold an 03 Powerstroke that I modded, and it put down 320 HP and 639 Ft Lbs of Torque to the tires on Slater's chassis dyno on the NE side of town, so this truck needs a "pick me up". Looking at cold air, exhaust, and a cam change. It is really lacking down low, below 3500RPM, and with a 3.23 gear set, automatic.......ouch. I need more power Scotty, warp speed! Still undecided on a motor for my Challenger,,, was going Big Block, but now maybe late model hemi?????? Not sure, still have some more work to do before I make that decision.
