      Going golfing tomorrow ...

with a couple of +2's and another with a 10 handicap. None of these are me.

I need to get tuned up for my SEMA hackfest with ridetech's Ty. I haven't forgotten, Ty ... eighteen holes with lots of cussing interspersed with bad jokes await.

      Cheers,
      Mary Pozzi

Monterey Pines ... and a definite yes for the shorts. Can't believe this weather.

Now I need to find my stash of "river" and "good" golf balls for tomorrow. Those that golf know exactly what I mean by this ...

Make sure you tell them the ladies T rule is in effect, just to see the look on their faces.
(not able to drive past the ladies T box = instant wear your pants around your ankles for the rest of the hole)

Had very good dreams last night. All involved birdies and pars. So with coffee in hand this morning, I made the trek from the house to the garage to assemble my arsenal for today's hack attack.

The boxes that contain my golfing stuff (hats, tees, removable cleats, gloves, shoes, visors, and other things that affect the proper striking of a white ball or make me look more Annika-ish) are heavily fortressed by boxes that contain Camaro parts. Priorities, you know. After digging through five boxes, I found my secret weapons and my lucky balls are now in the bag ...

Cheers and the course is MINE,

Well ... good and bad. Was seven over going into the 14th hole and even though it wasn't, I almost made a hole-in-one on a par-3. Ball was eight inches from the cup after a very (lucky) pure nine-iron. The three guys that were approaching the green behind our foursome watched me tee off and gave me a standing ovation when the ball landed. Can't imagine how those tour players get it done with the crowds but I found it quite hard to concentrate with my audience of three.

At 14, I bonked ... crashed, no energy, and was looking around for some studmuffin pool boy to carry that golf bag. The pars became bogies, bogies became doubles. A par-5 turned into a snowman. It got ugly for about three holes but I finished with a bogie and had a great time.

Note to self ... eat breakfast before you play golf.

      Cheers,
      Mary Pozzi

Remind me not to play golf with Mary. I don't count strokes, only the number of balls I lost! It's easier that way.

      Golf

It would be cool to have a pro-touring.com best ball tourny...maybe like Orlando or somewhere...Hilton head would be great. 4 man teams, for some charity or scholarship. 100 buy in per playa, maybe try to get some sponsors to put up 1,2 and 3rd place prizes? I have golf on the brain! Its either my 69 camaro or my callaway clubs....too many damn hobbies! Anyone wanna buy an ar-15? Just kidding...might need that.....
