Well, I spoke with Butch on the phone regarding the project, 3" into 22" magnaflows with 2.5" tails to exit right before the bumper valence (hidden kinda). I thought a street rod shop would have a mandrel bender, my bad for not asking. When I dropped it off, Butch wasn't there, so I talked to Nick and tried to refresh what I wanted done. Nick assured me that he had spoken to Butch and knew what was up without really listening to me. unfortunately I had to pick the car up and jet and just got back in town from business travel. When I picked it up, they were spray painting the system black. I can't tell what kind of mufflers are in there, but I'm pretty sure they are short case ones. The car does sound good and passed inspection. The tailpipe exits come out onder the bumper at an angle.

I am happy that the car passed inspection, but for $650 to a shop that does all the street rods in the area, I kind of wanted it perfect. I might go back next week and see if Butch is in the shop. Again, I have only been back in town for about 2 days so this is pretty far down on my list.

BTW, Pypes quoted the same price for their system installed at their facility. In a few years when this one rusts out I will go with them.

Wilmington checking in. Just started building a 70 SS Chevelle.
Time and money are what I need, but the general idea is to build a Twin turbo 496BBC and slam it on the ground with 20's
Hopefully i can finish it before the end of time.
What year is your Chevelle MJD?

I'm in Bear, I've got a 72 Nova, in the middle of switching from hotchkis springs front and rear to coilovers and building my own triangulated 4 link.

I am in Bear, just starting a 69 camaro. I just ordered a bunch of stuff from Frank at Prodigy and next week I will be ordering the Speed Tech subrame and Speed Tech rear suspension from Frank.

I had been living in Newark until last Sept...now down in Laurel, DE but might be moving back up north. I have a 73 trans am with a 462 turbocharged with a 77mm Garrett, intercooler, methanol injection. Its the pic in my signature. I'm hoping to head to the Ocean City MD car show this saturday if I can fix the couple of things it failed for inspection. Also plan to hit a few cruise nights up north over the summer as I have friends up there.
1973 Trans Am 455 SR block, ported 6x-8 heads, solid cam, Victor intake, 830 CSU carb, aluminum rods, 77mm Garrett turbo and methanol injection. 1064hp at the flywheel@5500 rpm
