2001 Fast and Furious - Top Ten List

So, it was on FX a couple nights ago. Forgot how funny it was. Thought I'd put together a top ten list of things I learned. Fee free to add (please write it in list format).

      • Two bottles of Nitrous (or NOS, I guess) will make you faster than one.

      • If you can drag and drop a strut onto the image of a car, you qualify for MIT.

      • Eclipses have 8 speed transmissions.

      • It takes half a minute to run a 10-second quarter mile.

      • The worst thing about stealing cargo is the possibility that truckers will take matters into their own hands.

      • If you shoot-up the windshield, the car will explode, lifting it off the ground.

      • Double-clutching will make you faster in the quarter mile.

      • Pro-stock cars race on road courses.

      • A 10 second car is a cakewalk to drive, but a 9 second car… scary!

      • If you see a guy breaking into a warehouse garage at night, by himself, wearing street clothes… immediately suspect he’s a cop.
      And as an added one:

Musclecars are way more powerful than any rice-burners. Oh, wait... that one is true!

      Got another:

An engine with destroyed piston rings will run like a raped ape and not blow oil, once it's cooled down.

That killed the movie for me, the lime green eclipse blew sky high because the NOS tanks.

along with blowing the intake welds

chrome and colored items in your engine bay means you have a high powered car. Really surprised a flex capacitor was not present in that movie.

I dunno, I was flipping through channels one night and happened to catch a scene on Pinks All Out. Some guy's nitrous system backfired or something in the staging area, blew the whole front end of his car apart. Maybe the same guy set up that eclipse.

      ooh!!! Pics!

      Real Q?

No, but it's pressurized. If the integrity of the vessel is compromised, it (the pressure vessel) can explode (and Mythbusters popped the top on a jar of nitrogen and drilled it through a concrete wall)

NO2 works because it's oxygen rich, about 3.5 times more oxygen than air. Need to add additional fuel or you'll lean detonate,
