amx suspension
anyone know of a way to upgrade the 1969 amx suspension to modern components. want a better front end then trunnions.

There is a strut suspension for sale now and a double a arm suspension in the works. A search over at http://amccars.net/cgi/yabb2/YaBB.pl should find them.
I took a different route and built my own upper arms that use a coilover and a 70 and later spindle/ball joint. I got rid of the trunnion and picked up caster. I also redid the lower arm with a modified johnny joint instead of the bushing and redid the strut rods to get rid of the rubber bushing. No road tests yet though.

Those Johnny Joints are great!
They come in handy for guys like us who have to make are parts...
