      4th Gen wheels on a 1st Gen

      have been looking at the threds but they dont say what size spacer or adapter to use, I would like to get the SS wheels 17's or ZR1 17x8.5 if you guys can help , it will be going on my 67 with front disk an rear drum stock frame

      If you're talking about the 10 spoke SS wheels, I don't think you'll be able to get those to work on the front? They measure 17x9.5" (I'm pretty sure?) and even with a large spacer, I don't see those working. The red witch has ZR1s on it, and I think Mark used the 17x8.5" up front. You may want to dig up some old articles and see if it mentions what spacers were used.

      so 17x8.5 is the way to go? ZR1 are 8.5?

      You'd have a better shot at the 17x8.5" ZR1s, but you'd need a spacer for sure. I'm going on second hand info here on the 8.5" wide ZR1s, so they may not even exist? I know that they make 17x9.5 and 17x11 ZR1s and I was told 8.5" versions as well. Hopefully someone else will know more about what size spacer you'd need.

      The company SLP has the 17 x 9 SS Camaro wheel that looks like the ZR1 wheel. I have them on the front of my '69 with 2" wheel adapters and "short" 255/40/17 tires. I don't know how they would fit on a '67.
