BS3 Tuning

Im new to the tuning of BS3 systems, I'm trying to help a friend out with his car. He has an I know 55 Chevy with a relatively stock 355 SBC, It has Hilborn fuel injection, MSD Distributor , MSD 6AL box with a BS3 ECU. After reading the online installation manual, I sent the timing a 50 BTC and phased the DIST in a 38 BTC. The care starts fine. The problem I'm having is the car is running way to rich, more so out of the left bank then the right. The fuel pressure and all the other stuff appears to be fine. I'm ask for some help in understanding the software and more so some guidance on how the lean the car down for street use...
