Markings on L92 heads?

Is there a marking on the heads to see if they are L92's? Thanks!

Look for an 823 casting on the outside end of the head near the valve cover rail.

There is another casting number I can't remember off the top of my head.

I'm running an Oct special on L92 heads. Complete pair of new heads for $600 shipped in the cont. U.S.

Hmm cant find that number. All I see is 5364

all the heads I seen have 823, but this link states otherwise. I'll admit I am not upto date on the LSX stuff, but I am sure you should not try judge a motor size by the casting number on the head. it sounds like you are just trying to verifu heads that are L92 style, not necessarily the whole motor?

Thanks for the post. Yeah I bought a LS2 a while back with L92 heads and want to make sure its right before I drop it in.

Maybe this sounds too obvious but look at the intake ports.
If they're cathedral shaped buy those L92's from Jake. That's a screaming deal for what you get!

5364 is what is cast on my L92 heads.

5364 is the other casting number. It is a L92 as well...
