      C6 Z06axle out dimension

I have 12 bolt with C6 Z06 brakes. I'm installing 9-inch ford housing ends to accomodate kores 3 e-brake setup. I need to know the axle out dimension.

I thought their ebrake kit backing plate would bolt directly to the 12 bolt. Maybe I'm thinking about the regular C5 brakes.

i have a 12 bolt with moser small chevy housing ends with large ford bearings. but tobin prefers the ford housing ends. his 9 inch kit retains my axles and mounts my brakes. i need to know is the axle out the same as stock.

Bill, we usually prefer the Ford ends if you had to choose because any time you can make something "standard", you usually end up coming out ahead in the long run. That said, we have kits for both the standar Ford big-bearing "Torino" or "new style" housing ends and the GM/Ford hybrids you mentioned.

If you're running the true Ford "Torino" housing ends with 2.00 x 3.56 pattern, 2.50" axle offset dimension and 3/8" retainer bolts, then that's all you need to know.

If you're looking at running the GM pattern/Ford big-bearing hybrid housing ends, we have BOP kits that work with those as well, and those have a 2.75" axle offset dimension. Moser, Strange, etc have flush versions of these as well primarily designed for LS1 brake conversions, however our kits are compatible with those ends as well, just minus a spacer that is included with the kit.
