      Fox Body steering arm length

This is a rather strange request, although does someone know (or have access to) the steering arm length on a late fox body mustang? I'm curious to know the spindle center line to the center of the ball joint mount.

I'm in the process of designing my front sub for my '68, and planning on using a modified fox body rack. I want to compare my steering arm length to the original fox length as a sort of sanity check.

You could try Corner Carvers if you really want to know.

But, what length have you come up with? Honestly, it doesn't matter a whole lot just as long as you have enough steering angle at full lock (to a point). I wouldn't make it too much shorter than 5" from spindle C/L due to steering quickness (assuming a 2.5 turn rack).

This information might be in Mathis' book "Mustang Performance Handbook 2". Not sure if it's still available. I'll try to look at my copy later today.

Update - I didn't see anything during a quick scan through the Mathis book. Sorry.
