Well we got the engine up and breathing finally. Its not modern muscle but my lil 327 should do fine I hope.

dang, you can hear the fuel pump over the cherry bombs. Nice project. Need more picture of it complete.

I can imagine how you feel.
Makes me want to just go take the manifold and carb off of my truck and put it on my car and throw the dfi unit ,well almost.
If i don't get ir working soon I just might.
Sounds good and healthy and the fuel pump is loud but if it runs ,who cares for now. Iknow my fuel pump has got some noise to but I am not sure if it is that loud?

Sounds real good, got to be a nice feeling. Strange though, thought someone was blowing leaves around but I didn't see any movement...

Yeah that damn fuel pump is an irritation to me.
Bought it from Summit a cpl months ago and hooked it up.
Went to juice it up for the engine cranking and no pumping, it was just getting hot. So off it came and inside I went. Sure enuff the vanes were rusted together and not pumping.
So I bead blasted it all shiny and cleaned everything off real well and re assembled.
It pumps fine but man is it loud now! I am going to pull it down check it and remount it. I am hoping it has something to do with mounting. It got rubber mounting spacers but maybe it needs something else/more.
