      Project BLACK DOG

      I am new to this site. Here at my shop we are building a 71 camaro for a customer. Thought you might like it. Lets see , where to begin.... Car started life as LT1 Z28. It had a very hard life. NOW. Full chrome moly tube chassis and cage, C5 vette suspension,780LE trans,alum 9 inch,new ZL1 ramjet 454. plus all the usual goodies. I am going to try to post som pix. TIM

      After its all together we have to scale it to get the rightsprings for the coilovers,so we will find out then. Does anyone know the weight of a stock 71 camaro for comparasen?

      Curb weight of a 1971 Camaro was around 3313 lbs

      Thats close enough. Thanks. Been working on building wire harnesses. Also working on making a trick center console. just placed a huge order for parts. will post pix soon TIM
