Cylinder Heads Interchange Question
excuse my dumb question

Can I use heads from the '60s & '70s engines on my '95 Block? I've read on catalogs something like: < 86 and, from 87 up
whats the difference?

yes, but why? the old heads were good for their day but are outclassed now.
IMO get a set of vortecs, they're cheap and make good power.
edit, i'm assuming you have a gen1 block, right?

Of course if we are talking about LT1, or LSx heads those are completely different. The Vortec head needs a specific intake manifold1971 Camaro, 383 stroker ~500HP,M21 Trans with lightened flywheel. All Sorts of Auto-x Goodness in the Suspension. 12" Brakes ->SOLD

i can probably get you a used set. i'll ask my buddy.
just in case you don't know, vortecs will only handle about .480-.490 lift. this is easily corrected by a machine shop and i think it only costs about $50
