confused by these wheel adapters...

how are they bolted to the rotor hub?

They bolt on in place of the wheel and then the wheel bolts to the adapter. Depending on the adapter thickness, the original studs may need to be shortened.

you can see here that they use thin lugnuts with a key
Maybe they cut off the studs?
