      Heidt's Subframe pics

I ordered a new front sub...the stocker was questionable, so the great frame hunt began.

I settled on Heidt's becuase of price, close resemblence to stock, R&P Steering, completeness of the kit, and turnaround time.

For a total of 4700.00, I got everything pictured below and it was delivered to my door 10 days after purchase.

So far, I'm impressed with the quality of the welds and the appearance--I won't have application tests until next year when the Beast is moving again. Here are some pics-

      As arrived:

      The pieces laid out:

      Coilovers with kit.

      Shockmount:

      Weld work:

      Brake upgrade:

Upper Control Arm-they have the same adjustability of the Alston uppers:

      Lowers:

      Obligatory sticker and trans mount

Looks good. She should handle a lot better now.
That was a quick delivery as well, 10 days isn't bad at all.

47 hundred!!! What a good looking setup for the money, not bad at all. Umm, the brakes too?? No, prolly not. And so what, yer missing a spindle and a coilover LOL Just kidding.

So what exactly is included? All the fasteners, coilovers, assembled control arms, a rack (any ball joints for the steering?), spindles, steering arms, a solidly welded frame. Im assuming the brakes were your own ahead of time cause Ive just bought some wilwood brakes, they wouldnt fit into that 4700$ bill for all the other stuff you got.

Any bump or steering stops? You have a roll bar you are gonna use?

I gotta say, with the costs of parts and manufacturing these days 4700 bones doesnt look bad at all, not at all. JR
