Pro Magnums
Just tried a set on my 355 and am getting a very poor contact pattern especially on the intake side.
Rocker is canted also and rubs (what I feel is) too hard on the guideplate. Have consulted with Jegs and Comp Cams on this with both parties assuring me that this head does not require an offset rocker, I remain doubtful.
The other weird thing is it looks like I will need a longer than stock pushrod on the exhaust side at least the contact is so poor at the intake side I can't get a good rear on that valve tip yet.
Has anyone run into this problem?
Cam is a Howards Hyd Roller retro, block is circa 1970
