      AutoPressReleases.Com?

I got an email just now saying I'd signed up for a new account with Auto Press Releases.com. I have never heard of this site, nor been to the site before, but it had my FULL NAME, email and address in the email.
Anybody heard of this before? I went to the site to login with the information they'd given me and I cannot login. Seems very strange.

sometimes when you sign up on a site there is some fine print/funny wording that says that for free you get a trial period with some other site.
I just got caught with that Chit, and the site I signed up with needed payment for the service (one time mind you) well I forgot about it but this othere "free" promo came back to bite me by charging my credit card!!!!!!!!!!!!, yup my stupid fault for forgetting something 6 month ago.

They have the same address as Comp Cams which is odd, because I had just recently been corresponding with Comp Cams. I sent an email to both companies asking for an explaination.

      Be cautious.

AutoPressReleases is owned by the Comp Performance group. It's a site primarily designed for the media, and many companies post new parts there for media distribution. It's not phishing, it's a legit company. Maybe Comp's (or TCI, FAST, ZEX, RHS, or their other companies) email lists have gotten crossed-up.

      I'm sure it's easy to opt-out if you'd like.
