      Engine oil leak

Anybody have an ideas for stopping a small oil leak that appears to be coming from the left front of the oil pan near the first bolt. It appears to be leaking from the gasket area rather than the bolt itself. I've tighted that bolt and the one behind it and the timing chain cover bolt that's in the vicinity. I've pulled the bolt and attempted to clean and shoot some RTV in there but to no avail. I don't really want to drop the pan, or pull the engine, for such a small leak. I have breather plugs in both of the valve covers so I don't believe I'm having a vacuum/pressure issue. Help me try something I haven't thought of yet. Thanks.

Vacume pump? Instead of letting a little oil out it'd be sucking a little air in and might help performance.
