      Poll about listening...

Please take one second out of your life and truthfully answer this poll. The results of this poll will have a big impact on attempting to get on the show.

Does anyone here listen to the Adam Carolla daily Podcast (or easy one-click AceCast Player without needing to download the podcast) or the Saturday Adam Carolla Carcast (which is mostly car related topics with car guests like Chris Titus and Jay Leno)?

I'm trying to get an idea of how many of us at P-T.com listen or would listen if a member or the owner of a sponsor company we hold high regard for was to get on one of the AdamCarolla.com podcasts.

      Thanks for taking the poll.

I agree with megaladon6, I just find Adam a little annoying, but not as bad as say...Dennis Miller. lol.

I would only listen to an Adam interview if it was a cool car guy and a link was provided.

I liked him on The Man Show but not big on comedy on the net.

Someone from here and I'd watch.

Adam's podcast is similar to his days on Loveline, except without Doctor Drew...but...Dr Drew does come on Adam's show. The podcast is a talk radio show where famous, interesting, and funny people come in and get interviewed. It's not like Adam has a comedian come in and do 50 minutes of stand-up comedy. It's the most downloaded podcast in the California...wait...it's bigger than that. It's the most downloaded podcast in the USA...wait...it's bigger than that. It's the most downloaded podcast on the entire Internet. He hit over 1 million downloads back in May. Of course as with everything (Beastie Boys, red meat, cats, Pro-Touring, Mixed Martial Arts, Alfred Gockel, the 3 subatomic particles of an atom, quadratic formula, how fast a Delorean has to go to travel through time, UNIX, the symbol Au from the periodic table of elements, Resees Peanut Butter Cups, Infinite Probability Drive, etc)... Some things are complicated and some things aren't. Some people are going to like it and some people won't. Some people don't even know what a podcast is or know that you can click a little button "Listen Now" to play the show on their computer like you would to watch a YouTube video...without knowing what a Podcast is or needing to download it.

His show yesterday was about Pro-Touring.

x2. I'm with Amir. Thanks for posting the links. I'm going to try and start listening more. I like the article on him in GRM that Steve posted in your other thread. I'll check out the pod cast. I like Carolla.

Corolla was funny on the sex talk show that used to be on , on Sunday nights.
I used to listen to that.
I also used to watch the Man Show.
But , in the last two or three years , I've just gotten to busy to listen to radio shows or watch TV.

Yeah, Frank would let it all hang out. For the interest of our hobby I would like to hear John Hotchkis, Kyle Tucker, Rick Love, Bill Howell, Kevin Oeste... Can you think of other guys that would be good for the hobby to be on the CarCast?

HA! Thanks for the compliment. I'll have to tell my wife that. She'll roll her eyes. I'm just a car guy like everyone here who just happens to write and shoot for a living.
