Need help with Luxury Liner Pro

This stuff is so thick and heavy, surely there must be something other than spray adhesive required to install it. I'm trying to put it over Second Skin on my firewall and am hesitant to get started. I've heard some people using Liquid Nails to actually get it to stick long enough for the spray adhesive to properly bond. What is the best way to cut it, snips or razor? I need to get the firewall done so I can mount everything on the firewall and start wiring it up.

Depends on the adhesiev that you use. We offer a high temperature contact adhesive that will do the trick.

Apply a thin layer to the foam side of the Luxury Liner Pro, then a thin layer to the foil side of the installed Damplifier you are going to attach it to. Wait 30 seconds then do another coat on both panels.

Wait about 60 seconds and stick the 2 tacky sides together..

Apply even pressure to the vinyl side of the Luxury Liner Pro for a few minutes to insure good contact and once the adhesive has set you wont be able to tear it off.

      Hope that helps!

I don't have Damplifier down, just Spectrum inside and out.

Does installing something this thick interfere with the installation of anything I put on the firewall, i.e. master cylinder, steering column, etc.? Or is it best to cut the hole in the Luxury Liner Pro around the components so as not to interfere at all?
