      Heidts Chassis

Does any one have a Heidts chassis or any of there suspension components installed and tested? I talked to the guys at their booth on power tour and they praise it up and down for performance and streetabilty. They had there 2ndgen camaro test mule there with a complete Heidts chassis under it, it looked pretty set up, they had good results at the autocross too.

      Thank god for race gas!

Ive ridden in a car with it, cant say its really worth it though, a good set of like PTFB or Hotchkis A arms, will get you 95% of what the chassis will. The stock clips are pretty damn good from the factory, probably better off just fixing it up with a good set of Z06 brakes and new steering/coils.

also FWIW, the guy I know that has it has kissed a curb more than once and it held up really good, so its pretty strong.

      to give you an idea,

I am a ford guy and I am familiar with their ford stuff. i dont like their design of the rear 4link for mustangs and i dont like MII front suspension at all. so i would buy their stuff. I think the rear is a nice bolt on unit with little improvement over a nicely setup leaf.

maybe that helps in your decision ??

Randy Johnson, his car "RE-Peeled", is on this site consisting of Heidts front subframe, front and rear suspension. Although the car is almost complete, he can give you much insight on how it was to put together.
