yeah, but i don't consider Family Guy to be Adult Swim- yeah, they show it there and the show got put back on the air because of it, but it's not an Adult Swim production.
Dethklok is way more brutal than Stewie could ever hope to be.

I'm a big fan of Adult Swim and of cartoons in general. My kids ages 9,7 and 5 think it's "weird" that I sit and watch "their" shows with them. I just call it good parenting!
Two good cartoons that aren't on adult swim but that I find to be darn good are The Mighty B (Amy Poehler from SNL is writer and voice) and Phineas & Ferb. Both on Nick and worth a look

I've been watching AS-esque shows since cartoon network was still the new kid on the block and space ghost coast to coast was brand spanking new--used to stay up in the fourth grade and watch it, followed by speed racer, in my room, on my little 10" sanyo, in my bunk bed. I missed a fair amount of the humor, but probably caught more subliminally than I should have.

I can't believe there's not more harvey birdman love on here. I find everything about that show, from the entire premise, to the retro-silly style, to the writing, to the cameo characters to be just fantastic.
