      Stumped?

Alright here's my delema. I've got the GW upper and lower control arms and their 1" sway bar. I just got the sway bar back from being powder coated, and now in the process of putting it together. I've got everything on the front suspension except the bar. The car is on jackstands, and I tried putting the bar on and it dosn't seem to even line up with anything! Do I have to have the chassis on the ground with everything compressed or is something just plain wrong? Man I hope nothing is wrong. I couldn't begin to think they built something that far off. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Trond.

      Trond,

Where is it and how far is it off? Can you post some pics? It must be the shocks that you bought.

      Re

Brian, You know I was begining to wonder about those shady things I stuck on there? JK. Well, lets put it this way, the mount on the LCA's for the bar is angled so far forward when I put the long bolt through from the bottom and try to line it up with the hole on the bar it's off by about an inch or better! I'll try to get a picture, and I'm also going to give GW a call and see what they suggest. Later Trond

      Re:

Well, I called GW and he said it was the right bar from the measurments I gave him. He said It will have to be on the ground with engine and trans. in it, then things should line up. Boy, I hope so. So I guess I'll wait and when I get the trans. painted this weekend, hopefully soon after that I'll get them tucked in there and hook the bar up.
