RCA should not do anything... No need to ground it...

What amp is it? Some of the audiobahn amps show the red light after someone overheats it and it goes into thermal protection. Those you had to send to the manufacturer to reset. Some amps you can reset yourself. Consult the manual.. It will tell you

Check your RCA's sounds like they are going to ground. Did you run a screw through one?

try a different rca plug. Is the amp new? Sounds like the amp may have a short on the output side of the amp. Make sure you have the amp grounded to the chassis of the amp and the power is run to the battery. Both positive and negative. The ground is the MOST important part of the installation. Bad ground to the amp will also cause problems. Remeber power runs from negative to positive. Electrons are what makes the power and they are negative.
