      Need some advice

Well, I went out this weekend and purchased me a new daily driver. Just so happens to be a new Challenger RT. I love my wife for letting me get it. This is the funnest car I have driven in a long time.

So you are wondering what the advice is I am needing. I purchased a 68' convertible Camaro earlier this year. I have been buying parts here and there and I am just about ready to send it to the body shop to get the work done to it...like replacing floor, replacing trunk floor, adding mini tubs, and shoothing the firewall. Should I keep fixing up the Camaro or sell it to mod up the new Challenger. Here are some pictures of both cars.

Let me know what you would do.....
      Matthew

They aren't making any more '68 Camaros.
You might put the '68 on the back burner for a while, but don't sell it.
      Don't mod the Challenger yet.
Keep it stock and drive it for a couple of years.
Then decide if you still want to mod it.

Personally, I would rather have a great daily driver, and a nice weekend warrior car instead of just one or the other. thats not to say you can't make the camaro a daily driver, or the challenger a bad weekend warrior as well as a daily driver, but since you have both now, you can go fairly extreme on the camaro without too much concern for comfort, and just concentrate on making it as bad as you want to. You can keep the car as barebones as you want without worrying about it riding nice, or being comfortable on a long drive... you can just make it handle great, give it what ever stance you want and do it however you want without any comprimises, you can truly "purpose" build your camaro.

IMHO, I feel there is not a better feeling to be had than to have taken a car from the brink of being crushed, then turning it into an awesome car.

just my two cents, I'd keep the challenger stock ( maybe an exhaust upgrade and minor engine tweak mods) and just drive it. Build the camaro...
      2005 CBR 1000RR..."mostly stock".
      1968 camaro... "in the works".

I agree with most so far. Keep the Chally stock for now. It's a great looking car without mods. Sure you can go crazy with it and have a wild ride, but it looks good, its comfy, drives nice, got some power, leave it alone for now and get that Camaro to the shop and build it up.

keep that camaro! If you want to mod the chally, just play with the suspension. Lower it and maybe a set of 3 piece wheels. Maybe get a tuner and play with the settings...
