      Lokar dipstick?

I just bought this dipstick... http://www.summitracing.com/parts/LOK-ED-5001/

I do have an 80 or later block. The tube part that slides into the block is about 6-7 inches long and will only go in the block about an inch or so. Am I supposed to trim the tube to fit in the block nicely?

      thanks

Have you tried to lube the O rings?

I just use black silicone sealer.

Well the tube is about 7 inches long and i can only get 1 inch or so in the block. when i put the tube into the block the o rings are still about 6 inches away from the block.
