      wires for 5.3l w/headers

the straight boot ones that came on the motor are too close to the headers. Do the wires for ls1's have a 90 degree boot?

There are GM wires with a 90* boot but are the same length as the straight boot, so it will still not fit.

The best option IMO is to cut off your existing boot and buy a set of 120* NGK's from http://www.kingsbornewires.com/categ...?categoryId=98

They fit great and are super easy to install.

Or consider some DEI wire insulators.

I ended up buying some msd multi angle wires. They are expensive, but they worked. My only complaint is the msds are a little too long.

Like said above, the simple and cheap solution would be DEI plug wire insulators.
