      Drag Radials or No?

I'm building a 69 Dart and I'm running FR500 replicas, 18x9 front, 18x10 rear. I'd like to run a 305/35-18 rear tire and I know it will fit, but the only options I can find are drag radials. I don't expect a drag radial would last long in a daily driver, but I'm not certain. Those of you that are running them, what kind of mileage are you getting out of them? The other option is to go down to a 295/35-18 but for some reason I really want that almost 1/2" extra of tire. If I go down to the 295 in the rear, I'll have to go down to a 275 in front to keep it proportional. Thanks everybody.

They last about 5,000 miles of street time with some spirited driving and a few burnouts. Nittos are the best for rain by far. Mickeys hook the best. Nitto also makes a version with stiffer sidewalls for better cornering.
