      E-Brake Intermediate cable help

I need to make a longer intermediate cable for an e-brake. I was wondering if anyone else has done this or knows where to get the proper ends for the steel cable?

I'm working on shortening some LS1 cables for an install on my 69Camaro. I've done some practicing on scrap cable, and have come up with a method that will work very well. I bought some hollow steel spacers, 3/8 dia by 1/2 long. Drilled a 1/8 hole through the spacer and slid the cable through. Heated that with a MAPP gas torch and melted in some very thin flux covered brass brazing rod and filled up the hollow spacer with it. Works killer. Picture to follow.

Sorry for the crummy picture. I also tried to MIG these - you have to be pretty accurate or else you wind up with a big melted mess. Brazing works best for me.

I'll try and drill a straighter hole on the keepers.
