      Trailblazer SS 6.0

      Guy's found a good deal on a LS2 and trans out of a Trailblazer SS,what is the difference between these motors and the ones out of a corvette or GTO,and what about the trans 4l70-E will it work,going in a 69 camaro BTW.THANKS!

      I believe that motor has a big 'ol ugly and inefficient truck intake manifold. The heads may be different as well, but don't quote me on that. The trans will work in a '69 with a little massaging of the trans tunnel.

      Thanks mad max,that's what I was thinking too on the intake,no so crazy about the trans idea either.THANKS AGAIN!

      Last I heard the truck intake makes more power than the LS6 intake? Are the LS2/3 intakes better than the truck ones?

      Id say go for it if its under 2k-2500, sell the trans and buy a t56 :D

      Are the trailblazers the aluminum block engines? or are they cast iron like the other truck engines?

      I have a 2008, all aluminum motor. Most guys change the intake to the corvette LS3 intake and re-program it to get more power. They also do not come with electric fans, I thought that was just odd...
