      max-g systems

Has anyone had any experience dealing with them(highland daytona racing)? I ordered a frame from them for my firebird a year ago and keep getting the "just 2 more weeks, justa little more time" run around.

      thanks

you mean the dudes in PA? I asked about them here like a year ago, no one had any experience w/ them. if it was me, I'd be in there all the time, they are 5 minutes from where I work.

I paid for one of their max-g frames last year in the middle of june(08) and the build time was supposed to be 8 weeks. Since then I have been talking to them every couple months either by e-mail or phone and its always the same run around, "it'll be ready in 2 more weeks or we'll be ready to ship by the end of the month or we're re designing a part". I don't think they've even started on it yet and its been a year of the same thing..I contacted them yesterday only to get the same answer and now they won't give me my money back. Not sure what to do at this point.

What was their reason for not giving a refund?

they're saying its a custom order but they're not doing anything special with mine. I order the same thing they make for anyone who orders a 2nd gen frame. I've got a call into an attorney today. I just don't think they've even started on it. It can't take a year to make a frame thats already been r&d'd

a friend of mine stiffed someone on a $1000 ebay purchase. Just never sent the item.. and the guy flew across the country and showed up at his doorstep. He got his stuff and some extra for the trouble.. if someone has the money to spend on plane tickets it would be an option lol..

They were a site sponsor. Got a call about there being a judgement against the owner so waiting to see what happens with that.

I was wondering where this went; I guess you never got your money back? what's the status of your car now?
