      Carbon Fiber Center Dash

I would like to replace my current center dash on my 68 Camaro with a solid (no holes) piece preferably made of carbon fiber. I have deleted the air controls and do not need an ash tray. Is there anything like this currently in production?

If you are don't find what you need in carbon fiber. Think of fabricating a piece from metal and having liquid print done to it in the carbon fiber pattern. Check these guys out if you are interested. www.eaglecustomgraphics.com

Hard to give an exact dimension on this. Maybe about 12" wide and about 15" long.

My audio components arrived just before the long 4th of July weekend and I didn't want to wait any longer for a carbon fiber solution. I decided to create my own center dash out of 16ga steel with cutouts for a modern stereo head unit and 2 5/8 gauges.

Here is the old and new side by side.

Installed in my 68 Camaro dash. I think it needs some trim or molding around the outside edge. I don't know what to use here.

I wanted the same thing, so I modified the stock trim piece.
