      Header Gaskets

Ok, I did a search and there wasn't a ton of info in here. I am getting ready to install my Stainless works headers. I need to order gaskets tomorrow so I can have them for the weekend. Looking for recommendations. Material? Manufacturer? I would rather buy them once...

      Thanks in advance fellas!!!

I've had my best luck with thick copper gaskets. Don't remember the brand though, shows you how long they've been holding up!

I have tried them all! Earl's Pressure Master are the best! They have the carbon inserts with the aluminum frame. They last forever and no need to tighten them all the time! I promise, the best gaskets you'll ever buy!

I second the Earl's Pressure Master seals. I bought a set and tightened them once. They never leaked on me. I bought the inserts for when I reinstall my engine. There are other sets that work. I also like the Remflex gaskets. They're just like the Earl's inserts, but they're the entire gasket. Although as with all header gaskets, check the tightness after a few heat cycles to make sure the bolts haven't come loose. With the Earl's, I tightened them the first time, checked them a couple weeks later, and then about 6 months later. Still the same.

Thanks for the responses fellas!!! I have postponed the install for a bit unfortunately. Hoping to order the rest of the exhaust and do it all in one shot...
