      Best engine oil

Best oil to use? Got a 68 camaro with 350, comp cam, edelbrock rpm heads, 10.5 kb pistons dyno at 426hp.

You'll get plenty of opinions. I'd run Valvoline VR1 if you change your oil often or Rotella 15w40. The VR1 has the zinc that flat tappets need.

Either Valvoline Racing VR1 , a name brand 15/40 Diesel oil , or Brad Penn.
      You need the Zinc.

you typically only need the zinc for break-in.

in california no off the shelf oil has zinc, dang environment. so the only way to get it is with additives. comp cams makes a good one. i would add it for the first 5k miles. thats what im doing with my flat tappet solid lift cam.

they are good so is Red Line but amsoil is the best oil made. Take a look at their website and there research and comparison test.

but thats what i think, do some research on your own.
