      Independent Rear Suspension 1st Gen

I just picked up the April edition of Musclecar Enthus. In the "new cool stuff section I saw this cool rear end setup put out by Unique Performance Products. It says it uses an adj. pushrod and coilovers.and one pc. torque arm bolts connrct the rearend housing to the sub frame to elim. wheel hop.
Can anybody tell me how this might work? Does anyone in the group use something similar on their street car? It looks expensive ,and I guess I'm hoping it does more than I think it does.

It is adapted setup from the Mustangs. HUGE thread over at Corner Carvers about it, even with discussions including the people who designed it. Stupid price and besides it looking cool, I don't think it had any huge gains in performance to ever justify the price.

I brought it up a month or two ago. I will find the thread and post it.

Thanks for your response. Prior discussion confirms my original thoughts. Too expensive and no real bang for the buck.
