      Power Steering noise

My power steering box on the LS1 engine is making noise after car warms up. I have a power steering cooler which is stock that came with the engine from a WS6, 4 wheel disk, hydrobooster and late '80 fast ratio steering box. Lines are teflon with stainless braid.
I read somewhere that those lines make noise. Is that true? and why not as soon as doesnt make noise but after wams up? Or do I have another problem?

Have you checked to see if the fluid level is low?

Air in the system? What does it sound like? Does it make the noise at idle, or while turning the wheel? How hot is the fluid when it starts to make noise?

As far as I know if there is air it should make noise as soon as the engine starts.

lines need to be -6 on pressure side, we prefer -6 on the return as well

Are you running a remote resevoir? What fluid?

Does the noise pitch change with RPM?

Do you have a remote reservoir? If so is it baffled? It might be aerating.

it almost sounds like the pump is cavitating, creating bubbles. what fluid is in there?

I know its probably not but it almost sounds like the pulley is too big. Like the pump needs more rpms, or its aerating.
