      Newbie with no car!!!!!!!!!!

Well that's kind of a lie i have a car 98 gt mustang w/01 cobra motor but i dont consider that anywhere near the caliber of car's/truck's you guy's have on this site.Anyhow i am a reborn protourer i really want to get back into PT,I say i want to get back into PT because i made a huge mistake like alot of us have. You see i fell in love with classic cars when i was young(i'm currently 28) i remember my dad working on cars and my uncle's having car's loud and shiny as hell,i think at that point in time is when i got the sickness for car's.I had it so bad that i would say without a doubt it partly contributed to my divorce, but hey what the hell.Anyhow back to my mistake. No! Not just a mistake, one of the dumbest day's in my life.I had a 1969 chevelle 2dr ht that i bought when i was 20 i spent every dime and everyday that i wasn't working restoring my car for about 2 years,I was about 70% complete with my chevelle when i caught a spy shot of the c6 corvette and i knew i had to have one,so me being the dumbass that i was i sold my car for a down payment for the vette.we'll chevy dealer's being chevy dealer's i went down to my local dealer and instead of the 42-45k sticker i was expecting to see on the vette i was shocked with a 70-90k sticker after dealer markup. So without saying the c6 never happened witch sucked because i had sold my chevelle for something that would never happen. Now if i can find a car to build 66-72 chevelle 67-73 camaro 67,68 mustang coupe i will not sell it this time.Glad to be back wish me luck! Thanks J.Conde Houston T.X.

Welcome to the site. I can say I made a similar mistake when I was 20.(Im 29 now) I had a 69 camaro ss(true ss) paid 1/k when I was 17 of a older guy in Pamdale. after countless hours a true family and friends project it was finished 2 years later. About a year after I sold it to by a condo. Big mistake.

Now get another 69 velle and get to work. And remember the wife is replaceable the car is not.(LOL)
