Chevelle Newbie
Hello all,
I have a 70 Chevelle that has been stored in the garage for the last 20+ years on jack stands. It belonged to my dad before he passed away. The old man blew the engine before he passed, and my mom decided to keep it and leave it in the garage for me. My dad made it into a cloned SS in the early 80's and it's still in very good condition with very little rust.
I am planning on replacing the suspension and body mounts. Since it has been sitting on jack stands for 20 years, the car has become a natural low rider. I'm going to keep the 396, but still debating if I should keep the m-22 trannie or go with a 5 or 6 speed. Going to put disc brakes in all four corners and go with 17" rims.
The unfortunate part is, I just moved from Washington to Vegas. Everything is still being unpacked.
