      Who has a D&D Chevy/Viper T56??

Specifically looking for someone that has a 69 Camaro and a big block. I would like to know what crossmember you are running and what shifter you have.

      Here are my issues:

The LS t56 crossmember is too high and I can't run the TH400 mount.

The shifter D&D gives you is too far over to the left and it does not accept the hurst handle.

I did some work around's to get it going but want to change it for the long term

      Thanks!

I don't have the same car, but I do have that Transmission in my '79 Trans-Am. I had to modify my cross-member, had the mounting pad cut off, flipped over and re-welded closer to the bottom of the cross bar portion of the cross-member. That got my driveline angle where it needed to be.

As for the shifter, mine was also in the wrong location for my needs, too far back to fit correctly with my console. I purchased a Slik Stik shifter from Red Roberts @ Driveline Components, they have shifters that are off-set left, right, forward or backward - or any combination of those!!! I had the same set-up so I think I can help. Now I have a LS motor in front of the tranny...

I'm running the ATS crossmember, no problems there.

You're right on the handle position. I cut it and rewelded it. I used the shifter that came with the tranny. The set-up works good and worked with the factory console.

Any additional questions dont hesitate to ask..
