      Pics in Sig

How can I make my sig pic smaller? I need to make it smaller for dial up users and as a courtesy to others. Right now I am using the banner from my site as it is. I need to make it smaller but do not know how I can link it up without changing it on my site as well... Any help appreciated...

      Brad,

You need to host it somewhere on the net, and then just post it on in your sig how you would normally post a pic. Unfortunately, attachments willl not show up as pics directly, only links.

      http://img4.exs.cx/img4/1594/whytry.jpg

just copy that URL and paste it in the "Enter Avatar URL:" window in edit avatar under User CP. and you'll be all set.

Its hosted on www.imageshack.us for free. Check it out if you havent already... everyone who needs to host pics should use it.

You guys kick azz. What other forum on the net has moderators who go through the trouble and time to size guys pics and then host them somewhere on the net for them just so they can a frickin' signiture. Unbeleivable, in case anybody missed it, this is the greatest site on the net.PT.com kicks azz.

      Dennis,

I didn't think ass was included in the language filter? I may have to change that.

Ya know, I could change Dennis' title to brown noser J/K Dennis, I wouldn't do that to ya.

Hey Guys... I'm trying to put a pic in my sig too, but am having some problems... mainly that I'm not particularly computer saavy.

Anyway, the pic I'm trying to use is on my website at www.geocities.com/boodlefoof/page26 It is the middle picture on the page (the side view of the car). I tried shrinking it down in Paint... but when I go to upload it says I need text? I'm dumb... please help! :clonk:

      Thanks a bunch.

      Boodlefoof,

It looks like you're talking about this pic? http://www.geocities.com/boodlefoof/afterstance.JPG

That pic is, as you probably guessed, a bit large for a sig pic - it's 473x197 and we're looking for no larger than 250x75. If you've got the ability to resize the pic to 250x75 or so and post that on your Geocities site, that'd be a great sig pic.. and if you can't resize it, speak out and I'm sure someone will resize it for you... then all you'd need to do is upload the new pic to your site and set your sig to use it.
