      Frame/Motor mount help please....

Well I finally assembled my newly powdercoated subframe with all my new suspension and steering goodies. The frame is not under the car yet and I want to get as much done befor I slide it under the car.

Its a 67 convertible camaro... 406 SB going down in her with a viper 6-speed to channel the power.

Question 1... I need to buy some motor mounts and frame mounts that bolt to the subframe. What are your recomendations here???

Question 2... I also need to get body mount bushings. Should I buy solid or poly?

      Thanks in advance!!

If you do a search you should be able to find a lot of good info on this.

Here is some info about engine and tranny mounts.

I think most people are swapping the body mounts to solid.

If you decide to go with solid body mounts, keep in mind that they are available in 2 heights. 1/2" and stock (taller).

OK..I just read thru those and with the T56 Im going to install in the car I think I better go with the stock height ones, plus I dont want to deal with any of the other issues. Thanks Rick, you have been a big help tonight!

What about the actual engine mount stands..the ones that bolt to the subframe? Is there any real advantage with the 69 350 and Z28 style, versus the 67/68 327 style?
