gasket
Hi guys
Please help me. Want to buy new head gasket but what happens if I buy a bore 4.010 if my bore is only 4.00 and what thickness should I choose.
I want to get the SCE Titan gasket and my motor is a ZZ4 350 with the fastburn heads, I also run a procharger F1.
How do I choose?

04-25-2009 #2I tried the Titans without success. (I didn't even get into the boost--lasted one weekend--leaked water) I since put the Cometic MLS gasket with Permatex high tack head gasket spray. So far so good...full boost..full power...day at the track
Ensure flat surfaces to within .0015 max (end to end) with a better then 20ra finish.
If I remember right, my head gaskets are 4.180 on a 4.140 bore. Smallest Summit Racing sells online for Cometic Ford/Chevy V8's are 4.030 which I belive would work for your application.
.040 thickness is around the standard and what I'm running.Ron DeRaad

Gasket
Fel Pro also makes a MLS gasket, it works great in our race engines and we have tried just about all of them
