made a decision
there are pictures of the dash on my blog. I was originally thinking of incorporating into the lower dash piece (that goes under the steering wheel) but got a suggestion on lateral-g for a turn signal stalk mounted switch. I ordered it from watson's street works and I also ordered a cool black recessed momentary switch for my trunk release (which I will mount in the lower dash piece).
