pole position/spc control arm

I have a set of the pole position control arms(now spc?) on my 64 chevelle. The control arms have the 5 and 6 inch adjusters on the,20 degree plates with no lowering plates. The car has the qa1 coilovers. Do the 5 and 6 inch adjusters provide enough adjustment to the camber. I do not think they do and also purchased a 4 inch set of adjusters. Even the it appears the tire tops were pushed toward the feder lip. I then put the short adjusters on the front and it appears to pull the tire tops back toward the engine. Does anyoune have these arms on a 64/65 chevelle. What adjusters lengths are you using I am using the stock spindles. Do I need the lowering plates. thanks
