High heat seam sealer?
Is there any heat-resistant seam sealer available? I patches some holes in my floor in the jeep, and need to seam-sealer underneath, and it happens to be directly above the Cat conv, and muffler.
I used some stuff from napa on the inside, and it is bubbling up above the head-pipe coming from the muffler. I'd like to avoid that on the bottom.
I'm basically using rust bullet, going to seam seal the patches, and other places chrysler should have sealed, and then undercoating the bottom.
any suggestions ?330 H.O. gm crate, edelbrock carb/intake, headman headers,T-56 6 speed, mcleod clutch, hurst shifter looking for a home.

Perhaps just some high heat silicone? Pematex has high heat ultra copper that can withstand somehere around 700 deg's. I know its the same as a sealant, but it will do just the same. it wont really add any strength, but it should seal up well.
then again, if its heating up the floor boards that much, you may want to consider some type of heat shield.2005 CBR 1000RR..."mostly stock".
