Sounds cool. What 3-link is in it? Custom? I've been looking for a rear suspension to put under mine but am not willing to cut up the floor to do it.

You might want to look into some of the torque arm kits that are out there. There is an Australian company that, if I correctly recall, has one for a Maverick.

Hey thats a thought! I am Australian now living in Canada but will look into it, If you happen to have anymore info on the company it would be appreciated. I may look at at using a SPEED-TECH Torque arm from a 1st gen Camaro

I talked with RRS America last week about the kit. It still is not available for the Maverick. He doesn't know why they have not removed the "coming soon for Maverick" sign yet though it has been on there for years. The kit would likely work with little modifications for our cars with an exception being enough room behind the axle for the watts link.

I am personally leaning towards the TCI Torque Arm for the Mustang. There would be less impact on my wallet, if there is modification to be done to make it work.

I've dealt with TCI (Total Cost Involved) before, good people. The nice thing was that they will let you buy parts of a kit. I've been thinking of purchasing the arm itself, then adapting and modifying it to my 442 project.

Jay and i were talking about the Speed tech torque arm the other day and altho his mavi is a back 1/2 car we will probably adapt it to fit, but just like TCI you can also buy some or all of the parts from Speed Tech if you like.

Quick update for anyone who is interested! I purchaced a motor last week, a 32V 4.6 Cobra ModMotor. It's complete with everything needed to get it running. I have some chassis mods and motor/trans mounts to fab. Also picked all the small parts needed for body and interior so now I can get busy putting it all together.

good motor choice, i had a 4.6 4cam in my lincoln mark VIII. it was awesome and ran great. are you also going with a strut front suspension?

The Maverick has a Mustang two front clip but I am replac ing the arms with a set of Morrison arms I found at our shop and changing to coil overs and a bigger bar.

Alright another Maverick! Nice project. I've got a 4.6 DOHC for mine as well. You will be surprised how much room you have with that engine in there. If your making a set of engine mounts before I get to mine I need to get you to make me a set.

Stock rails with a Mustang II crossmember. You'll probably get to it before I do. I just picked up a 74 Pinto that will be my driver so I can take my time on the Mav. Going to redo a few things.
