Power steering pump with Hydroboost problem?

Hello everyone it's been a while I was'nt around here.
On my 67 Camaro with LS1 engine I have the C4 front and disc rear brake setup. I adapted a hydrobooster from Mustang and as far as I know that particular Mustang with hydrobboster also used same pbr calipers as C4. Only diffrence in the setup would be the LS1's power steering pump. Engine is out of a Trans am WS6 which have the power steering cooler inline with the engine ccolant. Lately poer sttering pump started wining if I'm over like 2000 rpm essipacely after 2200. Changed the fluid already but no luck. At the beginning did not do this. What could be the problem any ideas?
thanks for any tips that help me clear this problem.

      Is it low on fluid?

Maybe it is still full of air bubbles, or maybe the pump is going bad.

Mine is the same setup. No problems here.

Are you running the return line through the automatic transmission cooler in the radiator?

Cavitation is the first thing that comes to mind. I'd try eliminating the inline fluid heater/cooler first. Power steering pumps cannot have any flow restrictions. Hydroboost setups may enhance the problem.

Carl, I dump the return on the power steering box. I made a hole and install a fitting on top of the box. Cooler is inline with the radiator hose. Coolent pass thruu it. It worked fine at the begining but its humming now and drivinh me crazy. It does it after awhile when eng. temp rises up to operating level. I have a filter inside the feed hose I have to check that maybe.
I will bypass the cooler to try but I have nice hoses installed on fitting with burb and its a bitch to take them apart.
